Corn Scraper - NotApril 16, 2009

"My husband bought the Corn scraper for my sister, who loves corn on the cob but wears dentures. Fortunately he tried it out first.
He cooked up the corn then tried to scrape off the Kernels. Of course the corn was too hot to handle. Nothing in the instructions about stripping the corn while it was still raw.
Next time he tried it with a raw cob but too much of the cob came off with the kernels and they, the kernels, flew all over the place.
I saw another corn stripper that does the entire cob at one time, not just a row at a time, like this does.
Much simpler to buy a can of corn than waste time with this product."
