Throw away those depilatories and wax kits!

"I had used depilatories for so long they were losing their effectiveness (even switching brands) and my skin is too sensitive to use a wax so I tried this without much hope, quite truthfully. It really does work; read the instructions carefully (I didn't and should have) and completely and while there is a bit of a sting, the results are much better than other products and I think more longlasting."

Pros: easy to use, decreased breakouts
Cons: not for brows
"I bought this product because I tend to break out with waxing around my brows and lip. This product works well to get rid of hair and prevents me from breaking out. It does hurt a little but it is similar to plucking or waxing. I wish they could come up with a way to use it on your brows. Although if done carefully, you can get some the hair between your eyebrows."

Great little tool

"My first try with the R.E.M. Spring was quite surprising to me. Thought I was doing a pretty good job above my lip with tweezers, boy was I wrong. The R.E.M. Spring pulled out minute hairs that I didn't even know were on my face, but had noticed on others. When relaxing watching television I pull it out and start rolling on different areas where I know hair growth is fast I don't even need a mirror. I even bought one for my sister."

"This is a simple but very effective little device. I think the reviewers who weren't happy with it probably weren't using it right, because it took me a while to get the hang of it. I found that rolling it over my upper lip worked much better than the method described in the instructions."

"This is a WONDERFUL device for hair removal. This is like the Indian "threading" method for removing facial hair. I could never sit in a sunny window in a restaurant because of all of the peach fuzz on my face. Now my face is smooth and I feel much better about it!"

"I actually crave this! When I've misplaced it, I'll search high and low to find it. It stings initially-esp. the upper lip, but after a few times, it's virtually painless. I enjoy feeling those tough chin hairs being pulled out by the roots. I've tried waxing but it caused me to break out. No skin problems with this one."

Easy and addicting

"This has surpassed my expectations - I thought it would be painful & hard to use, however the opposite is true. Though, it did sting the 1st use, I find it is not that bad now. In fact, I often grab it while surfing the net, even though I don't need to use it. If the directions don't click, there are some helpful reviews on YouTube - since I'm a visual learner, this helped me a great deal. My only complaint, is that one end cap unscrews too easily. Ladies, this is 10 times better than waxing!!"

"My Mother-in-law saw the add in a magazine so I ordered one for each of us. I love it. Yes, it hurts for one
second but it does not leave a red line
like the wax does and I did not have any bad reaction afterward. As far as my Mother-in-law liking it, I have not heard yet but will let you know."

"This product does an excellent job of facial hair removal. It takes some practice to find the best technique to use...you may need to move it in different directions to get stubborn hairs.
My daughter uses hers a LOT and it wore out in about a month - but it is still far cheaper than getting a wax every 2 weeks, and not so irritating to the skin."

"I have used hair removal methods that snatch out hair and find over time it gets easier and less painful. I use an electric epilator device for my bikini line in the summer months. I had thought I could get used to this too, but I have tried numerous times and can't even do a full hair removal job to begin with. This is horribly painful and brings tears to your eyes with barely a try! There was a lot of reviews talking about how to get it to work best..but I didn't get that far..even a fair attempt at one twist of the coil proves far too painful!!"
