Cons: takes time to get the hang of it.
"A little awkward to use and it does produce some "ouches," and it takes several uses over time to eliminate all the hair from one area, but it does do the job. Cuts down or eliminates the need for hair removal cream."

"It does take some getting used to using and it's not for tight, small areas, but I do use it and follow up a little with the tweezers. No way is it accurate enough to do eyebrows.
It's a bit pricey for what it is."

"Maybe I was doing something wrong, or maybe I just didn't have enough or coarse enough hair since I have been getting my face waxed or threaded for the last 20 years. I was hoping that with this, I would be able to avoid my monthly visits to the beauty shop. But I just couldn't get this thing to do anything at all."

"Bought this because of the rave reviews, but I must say, it requires a certain "hand" to work it, which I have yet to learn. It's tricky. I have plucked a few hairs, w/some prickly feeling, but it doesn't get all the hairs. I am not even sure how tall the hairs have to be in order for this to catch it. So far, still practicing and using a razor to catch the rest...not worth it in my opinion."

"Have a little patience..... I had tried everything and this truly works! You can relax and watch TV and use this product. I actually think it is easier to use not looking in the mirror. Do just a little at a time. Your face will be as smooth as a baby."

"Oh boy, did this thing hurt, but it is VERY effective. No nasty chemical smell and very little reddening of the skin. I used it mainly on my upper lip, but was only brave enough to do a little bit on the sides of my face and chin. It is like a VERY VERY SLOW waxing."

"Over the years, I have tried different methods of removing or bleaching hair above the lip and on the chin. This works wonderfully and I have no skin irritation after using it. It took me less than 5 minutes to figure out how to use it."

"Working with the device is a little tricky. It took me about 20 minutes to get the hang of it and another 20 minutes to "de-fuzz" my face. It does pinch a little but it is nothing compared to the pain and irritation of waxing. If you hate to pay for (and endure) those types of services, it's worth the price and the time it takes to learn to work with this tool."

Gets rid of hair you can't see

Cons: of course ripping hair out hurts!
"Some upper lip hair can only be seen in certain light and this gets rid of it all. However, I guess I'm very sensitive to pain because I thought it hurt quite a bit and my skin was red afterwards. Now I ice down my upper lip before and after use and it's more tolerable. I just hope it doesn't stimulate a lot of growth."
